This song is dedicated two wonderful women who have supported Stephanie’s musical endeavors: her grandmother-in-law, Jeanne Bernard Ferron, and her grandfather’s cousin, Violet McMillan.

Stephanie met Aunt Violet as a child on a visit to Snow Shoe, Pennsylvania, with her grandparents.  Ever since they met, they corresponded through letters.  She never missed a birthday and always had encouraging words to share in her letters.  When Stephanie started college our relationship grew deeper and they wrote to each other more often. She even sent a book of Children’s Songs when Stephanie started student teaching.  Stephanie had the pleasure of surprising Violet with a visit during which she played the harp for her.  Aunt Violet has since passed on but her sincerity and love will never be forgotten.

Jeanne Bernard Ferron, affectionately known as Mémère, was a truly loving person who welcomed Stephanie into the family with open arms.  In fact, Stephanie attributes Bob and her coming together as a couple to Mémère. A lover of music, Mémère enjoyed hearing Stephanie play the harp and especially loved when she and Bob would play music together for her when they came to visit,

Words cannot truly describe how Stephanie feels about these two amazing women who have taken the time to shower her and many others with their love.

The video below was taken on a trip to Ocean City, MD in 2015.
